What the building has remembered so far.
A terse deck log. Entries are written in the order they occur and not edited afterwards.
The observatory takes its current form.
The front door is re-cut in dark metal, the nameplate re-set in Instrument Serif. The building, up to this point, had been lit too brightly; the fixtures are dimmed to resemble dusk.
First broadcast.
A frequency is assigned. The first shelf is occupied. The building, such as it is, is no longer theoretical. The nameplate is not printed in the log.
Foundation laid.
The domain is registered. The roof is pitched. The observatory, such as it is, is declared open on a quiet evening and the lights are switched on for the first time.
The log is continued as the evenings come.
