Shrink a PDF's file size by re-drawing its pages at a lower resolution and quality you choose.

The file stays in this browser. Pages are drawn as images and rebuilt into a smaller PDF.

Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Up to 25 MiB and 60 pages per run. Text in the output becomes part of the page image and can no longer be selected or searched.

How to use

  1. Choose a PDF.
  2. Pick the resolution and image quality.
  3. Compress and download the smaller PDF.

What it supports

Pages are redrawn as JPEG images inside a new PDF, so text is no longer selectable and the output can occasionally be larger than the input. Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Up to 25 MiB and 60 pages per run.
