Wi-Fi QR code generator

Make a QR code that lets phones join a Wi-Fi network without typing the password.

The Wi-Fi name exactly as it appears, up to 32 bytes.

Almost every router made after 2004 uses WPA/WPA2 — pick WPA. “No password” is for open networks.

WPA passwords are 8 to 63 characters. WEP keys are 5 or 13 characters, or 10 or 26 hex digits.

The name and password stay in this browser — they only leave as pixels inside the QR image.

How to use

  1. Enter the network name (SSID), security type, and password.
  2. Generate the QR code.
  3. Download the PNG or show it on screen for scanning.

What it supports

Supports WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP, and open networks, plus hidden SSIDs. The name and password are encoded directly into the QR image in this browser — anyone who can scan the printed code can read the password.
